Standard outputs
• Configurable pulse outputs to transmit pulses representing a certain differential total quantity.
Transmission is done either with separate negative / positive output indication or via separate
pulse outputs for positive and negative flow.
• Two unscaled frequency outputs for retransmission of the incoming pulses as robust square
wave forms..
• Configurable linear 4-20mA isolated analog output with 12-bits resolution representing the actual
flowrate of flow A, flow B or the differential flow. Flowrate levels as well as the minimum and
maximum signal output can be tuned.
Configuration
The E115-P has been designed to be implemented in many types of applications. For that reason, a
SETUP-level is available to configure your E115-P according to your specific requirements.
It includes several important features, such as K-Factor, measurement units, signal selection etc.
All settings are stored in an EEPROM memory and will not be lost in the event of a power failure or a
drained battery.
To extend the battery-life time, please use of the power-management functions as described in
chapter 3.
Display information
The E115-P has a large LCD with all kinds of symbols and digits to display measurement units,
status information, trend-indication and key-word messages.
Flowrate and totals can be displayed either with the 11 small 7mm (0.28”) digits or with the 7 large
12mm (0.47”) digits. Additionally, the E115-P has an analog speedometer to show the actual
flowrate.
Backlight
A backlight is standard available. The intensity can be set as desired (externally powered only).
The backlight can even be used in battery powered applications: it will be switched on, at a fixed
intensity, during a limited period of time and will switch off automatically, 3 seconds after a key
touch.
