10.7. Wideband RF option
The 30 MHz Wideband option can be purchased to expand the AC Frequency and RF calibration
capability of the 5730A. The Wideband option increases the addressable workload of the calibrator.
Most customers interested in the Wideband option are the Military, Prime Contractors who work
with Military systems, and large 3

Party Calibration labs that own Military contracts. Wideband
capability is activated through a button on the toolbar at the bottom of the touchscreen. When
active, the Visual Connection Management terminals illuminate the wideband connector.
