(mA 1Ω; μA 100Ω) In Combo or Meter Mode,
this softkey toggles between “mA” and “μA”
measurements. (“mA” is the standard configuration.)
Each toggle cancels Min Max, Touch Hold, “Peak
Hold”, and Rel and resets the Trend plot. “1Ω” and
“100Ω” represent the shunt resistances used for mA
and μA, respectively.
NOTE
If measuring <3 mA, using 3000.0
μ
A range
will give you better resolution.
The GMM autoranges in “mA” or “μA” (two ranges
are available for each selection) but does not
autorange between “mA” and “μA”. If manual range
is selected, “mA” assumes the 30 mA range, and
“μA” assumes the 300 μA range. The μA ranges are
not available on Model 863.
F
swaps the mA or μA in the primary display with
the frequency reading in the secondary display.
Subsequent changing between mA and μA or DC
and AC swaps the primary and secondary displays
back.
