5. Mount the pump housing:
a) Fit the pump housing.
b) Fit and tighten the lubricated screws.
Tightening torque: 57 Nm (42 ft-lb).
6. Loosen the impeller screw and make sure that the impeller moves down towards the
insert ring until they are in contact.
7. Tighten the impeller screw.
Tightening torque: 34 Nm (25 ft-lb).
Tighten a further 1/8 turn, 45°, after tightening to the correct torque.
8. Check that the impeller can rotate freely.
WARNING: Crush Hazard
Beware of the pinch point hazard between the rotating impeller and the
guide pin.
9. Check with an extended feeler gauge that the impeller clearance is 0.1 – 0.3 mm.
