  If the FLYGT Water Pump motor protection trips, first ensure the motor protection is correctly set according to the data plate and cable chart. If the impeller is hard to rotate, clean the impeller and the sump, and verify the impeller is properly trimmed. Check the fuses and replace any that have tripped; if they are intact, contact a certified electrician. For varying or high phase currents, or defective stator insulation, contact the local Xylem service shop. Ensure the pumped fluid's density doesn't exceed 1100 kg/m3, and verify the ambient temperature is within limits. If there's a malfunction in the overload protection, replace it.

Ensure all valves are correctly positioned, resetting or replacing them if necessary, and verify proper installation according to media flow. Clean the impeller and sump if the impeller is hard to rotate. Clear any obstructions in the pipes and seal any leaks in the pipes and joints. Replace any worn parts on the impeller, pump, and casing. Finally, check the liquid level sensor setting and consider priming the pump with a foot valve if needed.
