Why does my FLYGT 2125 Water Pump motor protection trip?
    • H
      haleleslieAug 3, 2025
If the FLYGT Water Pump motor protection trips, first ensure the motor protection is correctly set according to the data plate and cable chart. If the impeller is hard to rotate, clean the impeller and the sump, and verify the impeller is properly trimmed. Check the fuses and replace any that have tripped; if they are intact, contact a certified electrician. For varying or high phase currents, or defective stator insulation, contact the local Xylem service shop. Ensure the pumped fluid's density doesn't exceed 1100 kg/m3, and verify the ambient temperature is within limits. If there's a malfunction in the overload protection, replace it.

Why is my FLYGT 2125 Water Pump delivering too little or no water?
    • M
      Mark SinghAug 10, 2025
If your FLYGT Water Pump delivers too little or no water, first check the impeller's rotation direction; for 3-phase pumps, transpose two phase leads, but for 1-phase pumps, contact the local Xylem service shop. Ensure all valves are correctly positioned, resetting or replacing them if necessary, and verify proper installation according to media flow. Clean the impeller and sump if the impeller is hard to rotate. Clear any obstructions in the pipes and seal any leaks in the pipes and joints. Replace any worn parts on the impeller, pump, and casing. Finally, check the liquid level sensor setting and consider priming the pump with a foot valve if needed.

How to troubleshoot a FLYGT Water Pump that does not start?
    • A
      Alexandria ParkerAug 18, 2025
If the FLYGT Water Pump doesn't start, check for alarm signals on the control panel, ensuring the impeller rotates freely, sensor indicators show no alarm, and overload protection hasn't tripped; if issues persist, contact the local Xylem service shop. If it starts manually but not automatically, verify the start level regulator's function, clean or replace if necessary, check all connections, relay and contactor coils, and the control switch. Ensure the installation receives voltage by checking the main power switch, control voltage, fuses, supply line phases, fuse connections, overload protection, and motor cable condition. Clean the impeller and sump if the impeller is stuck.

What to do if my FLYGT Water Pump does not stop when using a level sensor?
    • R
      Robert WhiteAug 26, 2025
If the FLYGT Water Pump doesn't stop when a level sensor is used, ensure the pump can empty the sump to the stop level by checking for leaks in the piping or discharge connection, verifying the impeller isn't clogged, ensuring the non-return valves function properly, and confirming the pump's capacity; contact the local Xylem service shop for more information. Clean and check the functioning of the level regulators, inspect the contactor and control circuit, and replace any defective items. If the stop level is too low, raise it.
