      Alisha SilvaAug 16, 2025
If your Foster Refrigerator is too cold: * Set to warmer position and check if the compressor stops according to controllers operating range if the controller is set at a very cold position. * Check the insulation of the Thermostat. If problem persists, change the thermostat if the controller does not disconnect the condensing unit. * Change the control and check amperage load if the control contacts are stuck closed. * Determine correct control and replace if there is a defective or incorrect temperature control.

How to reduce noise coming from Foster HR80MF?
    • S
      Stephen RamirezSep 5, 2025
To reduce noise from your Foster Refrigerator: * Check if the noise goes away after you level the refrigerator. * While the compressor is working, check to see if metal parts are in contact with one another and/or if the screws that fasten the condenser are tightened if the condenser is not fastened correctly or copper tubing is in contact with metal. * Check if the fans are securely fastened. Also, check if the fan blades are loose, broken or cracked. If so, change the faulty blade if the evaporator and/or condenser fans are loose. * Locate and tighten any loose parts. * If the noise persists after all other measures have been taken, it may be originating from the compressor.

Why is there extreme condensation inside my Foster Refrigerator?
    • A
      alecbakerSep 9, 2025
If you're experiencing extreme condensation inside your Foster Refrigerator: * Set the controller to a warmer position & check to see if compressor stops as should if the controller is set at a very cold position. * This type of occurrence is caused by local climatic conditions and not by the refrigeration unit if the outside environment’s relative humidity is very high (over 75%). * Check the door and/or the magnetic gasket. Adjust the door hinges if needed; replace the gasket if broken if the refrigerator door won’t shut completely. * The unit must not be near sources that produce too much heat if the refrigerator had been placed at an inadequate location.

    • M
      Michael WareDec 1, 2025
If your Foster Refrigerator isn't getting cold enough, consider these potential causes: * Ensure the controller isn't set too warm; adjust to a colder setting. * Clean the condenser, as a dirty condenser can cause this issue. * Make sure the refrigerator is not near stoves, walls exposed to the sun, or places lacking sufficient airflow. * If there's air in the system, purge and recharge it. Compressor inefficiency or high pressure can also be a factor. * Check the temperature control refrigerant charge and defrost mechanism if the evaporator coil is iced up. Manually remove all ice and start over. * Locate and correct any restrictions in the system. * Check electrical connections of the evaporator and/or condenser fans and make sure that the fan blade isn’t stuck. Replace th...
