overdubbing?

recording

Preparation
and
tips
Before
you
begin,
initialize
the
controls
of
the
XR-7.
Insert
the
tape
you
wish
to
record
on,
and
rewind
it
to
the
location
at
which
you
want
to
begin
recording.
To
monitor
the
playback
signal,
it
will
be
routed
to
the
[FB].
In
this
example,
effect
unit
1
applies
an
effect
to
sound
source
G
and
effect
unit
2
applies
an
effect
to
sound
source
H.

sources
and
the
effect
unit.
Connect
new
sound
sources
