4 Connecting the FRITZ!Box
• Before you connect the FRITZ!Box, read the instructions on
Security and Handling on page 8.
• Connect the FRITZ!Box to the power supply.
• Connect the FRITZ!Box to your Internet connection.
• Connect the FRITZ!Box to your telephone line.
4.1 Connecting to Electrical Power
Connecting to the power supply
1. Pick up the power supply unit included in the FRITZ!Box
package.
Use only this power supply unit for connecting to electri-
cal power.
2. Connect the power supply unit to the socket on the
FRITZ!Box labeled “Power”.
3. Plug the other end into an AC power outlet.
The “Power / DSL” LED begins flashing after a few seconds to
indicate that the FRITZ!Box is ready for operation.
