Function and application of TIG Comfort Stop:
Welding
During welding, raise the welding torch
- The arc length is increased significantly
Lower the welding torch
- The arc length is decreased significantly
- This triggers the TIG Comfort Stop function
Keep the welding torch at the same height
- The welding current continually decreases (downslope) until the arc goes out
Wait for the gas post-flow time to finish and lift the welding torch away from the work-
piece
