The permissible operating position of
the device is horizontal.
The ambient air surrounding the device must be kept free from battery acid va-
pors. Mounting the device directly above the battery to be charged should there-
fore be avoided.
Cooling air
The device must be set up so that cooling air can flow through the housing open-
ings provided unhindered. There must always be a minimum distance of 0.2 m
(7.874 in.) from the air inlet and outlet openings. The ambient air must be free

The cooling air flows in and out as indicated by the arrow symbols in the follow-
ing illustrations.
NOTE!
Danger due to partially or completely covered air intake and outlet openings.
This can result in damage to property.

The setup of several devices one behind the other should be staggered.
If the devices are arranged in a line one behind the other without being
staggered, the distance between the devices must be as follows:
a)
8 kW: Minimum distance 30 cm (11.81 in.)
b)
16-18 kW: Minimum distance 60 cm (1 ft. 11.62 in.)
