Safety Function Terminology
This function blocks servo amplifier output. It is the equivalent of IEC/EN60204-1 stop
category 1.
This is activated based on input signals from external devices. STO startup is activated at a
set servomotor speed, or after a certain amount of time has elapsed. It is the equivalent of
IEC/EN60204-1 stop category 0.
This function is used to monitor to ensure that the set upper limit speed is not exceeded.
This is an output signal used to control the external break.
This is an output signal used to monitor whether the servomotor speed is within the set
speed.
