When should a BIOS upd ate be performed?
Fujitsu Te chno logy Solutions makes new BIOS versions a vailable to ensure compatibility with new
operating systems, new software or ne w hardware. In addition, ne w BIOS functions can be integrated.
A BIOS update s hould also always be performed if there is a pro blem that cannot
be solved using new drivers or new software.

BIOS update under Wi
ndows with DeskFlash program
A BIOS update can also be carried out under W indows with the DeskFlash program. The DeskFlash
program is located on the "Drivers & Utilities" data c arrier (under Flash BIOS ).

► Download the "Flash BIOS Update – Desk Flash Instant" update file from our website to your PC.
► Run the update file.
► F ollow the on-screen instructions.
BIOS update using a USB stick
► Make sure you have a bootable U SB stick ava ilable.
► D ownload the "Admin package – Co m pressed F lash Files" for bootable USB
sticks from our website to your PC.
► Unzip the ZIP file and copy the files onto your bootable USB stick.
► R eboot the PC.
► Select the U SB stick as the boot device.
► Boot from the U SB stick and start DosFlash.BAT.
► F ollow the on-screen instructions.
