ttery on the mainboard only in accordance with the
instructions in t he
"System expansions and repairs" manual.
During system e xpa n
sions and repairs on the device, take into account the information
in the "System expa
nsions and repairs" manual. Some of th e operations described there
must only be perfor
med by authorised service tech nicians. Incorrect repairs could greatly
endanger th e user (
electric shock, risk of fire) or cause serious damage to the equipment.

Turn off all power and equipment sw itches and disconnect the power
plug from the mains outlet.
Do not use any cleaning agents tha t contain abrasives or may corrode
plastic (alcohol, thinner or ace tone).
Never clean the device with water! Water entering into the device could
present a serious risk to users (e.g. electric shock).
Ensure that no liquid enters the system.
The surface can be cleaned with a dry cloth. If particularly dirty, use a cloth that has been
moistened in mild domestic detergent and then carefully wrung out.
Use disinfectant wipes to clean the keyboard and the mouse.
Clean the o ptional dust filter of the system at regular intervals (see chapter
"
Clean/replace dust filter", Page 31).
