3. CPU disassembly & assembly
• Remove heat sink: Unscrew 6 screws
(red arrows).
• If a tape is stuck on both middle holes,
then remove it.
• Do not unplug the fan unless you want
to change the fan
• Place the heat sink beside the unit.
• Release the CPU-socket with a left-
turn (anti clockwise) of the screw.
• Remove defect CPU. While inserting
the new CPU ensure that the triangular
symbol is in the position as shown in the
picture.
• Lock the CPU-socket with a right-turn
(clockwise) of the screw.
