Install Adobe Acrobat from the "Adobe Acrobat
CD-ROM" provided with this scanner.
1. Insert the Adobe Acrobat CD-ROM into the
CD-ROM drive.
⇒ The "Adobe Acrobat" window appears.
2. Select the language and Click [OK] button.
3. Select "Install Adobe Acrobat".
4. Click the [Next] button. The set up window
appears.
5. Follow the instructions to install the software.

ATTENTION
Adobe Acrobat bundled with this scanner
is not supported
by Microsoft Windows 95,
Microsoft Windows 98 /98 Second Edition,
Microsoft Windows NT4.0, Microsoft Win-
dows Me.
HINT
Adobe Acrobat is required for displaying the
manuals stored in the CD-ROM.
* Installation of Adobe Acrobat is not neces-
sary if it has already been installed in your
PC.
ATTENTION
This window is not displayed aoutomati-
cally when the "Auto play" setting of your
computer is deactivated. In this case,
please run "Auto play.exe" of this CD-
ROM directly from "Explore" or "My com-
puter".

Select "How to install" on the "Adobe
Acrobat" window to learn more about
Adobe Acrobat installation. Refer to
"Adobe Acrobat Help" about how to use
Adobe Acrobat.
