    • B
      Brian RoachAug 14, 2025
If scanning does not start, try these steps: Realign and reload the documents on the ADF paper chute, and ensure the ADF is completely closed. Check the cable connection (and the USB hub's power if one is in use). If the Function Number display shows an alarm or error, consult the fi-5120C/fi-5220C Operator’s Guide for troubleshooting. Why does my Fujitsu fi-5120C Scanner multi feed?
    • J
      Jesse FosterAug 21, 2025
Multi feed issues can occur if the documents do not meet the "Document Quality" and the "Multi feed Detection Conditions". Ensure your documents meet these standards. Also, fan the documents before scanning, correctly align them, and load them onto the ADF paper chute. If the stack of documents is thicker than 5 mm, reduce the number of sheets. Another cause may be a dirty Pad ASSY, so clean it. If the Pad ASSY is worn out, consider replacing it.
