    • J
      jason94Sep 9, 2025
If paper is not feeding, first check that the documents meet the "Document Quality" and "Multi feed Detection Conditions" requirements. A dirty Pick roller can also cause this issue, so clean it. If the Pick roller is worn out, replace it. Finally, make sure there is no dirt or dust in the document feed path.

Why does my Fujitsu fi-5220C multi feed?
    • M
      Melissa SuttonSep 7, 2025
Multi feed issues can occur if the documents do not meet the "Document Quality" and the "Multi feed Detection Conditions". Ensure your documents meet these standards. Also, fan the documents before scanning, correctly align them, and load them onto the ADF paper chute. If the stack of documents is thicker than 5 mm, reduce the number of sheets. Another cause may be a dirty Pad ASSY, so clean it. If the Pad ASSY is worn out, consider replacing it.

If scanning does not start on your Fujitsu Scanner, try these steps: Realign and reload the documents on the ADF paper chute, and ensure the ADF is completely closed. Check the cable connection (and the hub's power supply if using a USB hub). If there is an alarm or error, turn the power off and on again. If the alarm persists, it may require professional attention.
