Recommended Cleaning Interval
During normal use, the ADF is to be thoroughly cleaned
every 5,000 scans
* Scanning certain documents may require more frequent cleaning *
Some examples are:
Carbonless paper Handwritten documents
Paper with special coatings Glossy paper
Clean in direction of arrows using either
cotton swaps or wipes moistened with V1 cleaner
Pick Arm Rollers Feed, Eject, Pinch and Pick Rollers
Turn by hand to access entire roller
Glass
Glass can become hot during use
Allow to cool before cleaning
