Adjusting fan control
You can adjust the fan control in the BIOS Setup Utility. The following settings are available:
• Normal: The system is cooled to ensure that the maximum system performance is always
available and to keep the housing temperature as low as possible.
• Silent: The fan rotation speed , and thereby the noise created by the fan, is reduced.
The default setting of this system is Normal.
► Call up the BIOS Setup U ti lity.
► In the menu Advanced - Miscellaneous Configurations select the Fan C ontrol function.
► Choose the setting Normal or Silent.

With the Fujitsu Utility Function M anager you can also switch between
these two settings with Windows.
You can find the F ujitsu Utility Function Manager in the Windows start menu under
Settings - Extras and online at "
https://support.ts.fujits u.com/".
In the Function Manager, select the Fan menu item with the options Quiet
Mode (corresponds to Silent) and Normal Mode.
