At this USB port, you can charge a connected USB device or operate devices without an
additional power supply (see "
Connecting the notebook to the dock", Page 60).
You can also charge a connected USB device or operate devices without an additional power supply.
This is also possible with the notebook switched off, if the USB Ty pe-C Power Delivery
on System -Off function is activated in the A d vanced - Miscellaneous Con figurations menu
of the BIOS Setup Utility. Calling up and using the BIOS Setu p Utility is described
in section "
Settings in BIOS Setup Utility", Page 86.
USB devices are hot-pluggable. This means you can connect and disconnect the
cables of USB devices while the operating system is running.
