Installing internal options
If internal options have been purchased separately, install them before installing the operating system.

Checking the items

Check the contents in the package using
the "Contents List".
If any items are missing, contact an ofce listed
in the "Contact Information".

SATA hard disk unit
This server has a model with a SATA hard disk installed. The SATA hard disk is designed to be used about eight hours per day
for ve years with small scale and comparatively low access frequency. Refrain from using for mission-critical tasks in which
continuous 24/7/365 operation is necessary, or database in which the access is frequently repeated, and high reliability is re-
quired.
To prevent the loss of important data, regular data backup is recommended.

Install the following option devices after installing the OS.
Installing the OS after option devices have been installed
will cause the installation operation to end in an error.
- Non-system hard disks
- Internal SCSI/SAS optional devices (Hard disk cabinet,
Backup cabinet, etc.)
