3.2 EU conformity and official approval
Funkwerk Systems GmbH confirms that the product meets the following
requirements:
all safety and health requirements of the EU directive applicable
directive 2014/53/EU (RED)
The detailed declaration of conformity is deposited with the manufacturer.

The focX 2 is an OPH (Operational Purpose Handheld) – GSM-R handheld radio
including smartphone functions. This type of device is designed for mobile use. The
battery and the back cover are replaceable components.
The housing is made of a stable and abrasion-resistant plastic with a rotating
rubber seal.
The non-slip ribbing on the sides and back allow operation with work gloves.
Special scratch-resistant and mechanically resilient viewing window on the
display.
Resistance to chem. influences, e.g. engine oil, brake fluid, etc.
