Net hauling and sonar picture
False echo
In shallow water (depth less than 100 m) detection, unwanted echoes as shown in the
figure below may appear. This phenomenon is caused by the false echo from the previous
transmission. Reducing the Tx rate on the COM1 menu may lessen this effect.
