Installa on
1. Open the energizer

Mount the energizer on one of the
following op ons:
• T-post • wooden post
• ground • ver cal surface
Refer to the front cover for installa on
op on diagrams.
5. Connect leads to fence
Connect green ground (earth) lead to
ground stake. (Install stake at least 2’
(60cm) into ground.
Connect red fence lead to fence wire
or reel. The solar panel should always
face the equator ie, in the northern
hemisphere, the panel faces south, in the
southern hemisphere, the panel faces
north.
Avoid placing in a shady area.
6. Switch on
Indicator light fl ashes with each fence
pulse, to tell you that your energizer is
working.
Automa c ba ery save mode saves the
ba ery by slowing the pulse at night.
To maximise power output, keep the solar
panel surface clean. (Clean it with water
and a mild detergent using a so cloth or
sponge).
3. Connect leads to energizer
On the back of the energizer, unscrew
the Green terminal knob.
Thread the end of Green lead through
the hole in terminal and ghten the
terminal knob.
Repeat for the Red terminal and lead.
(RED+, BLACK-)
