10.3 Testing Procedure
The testing procedure shall be carried out by qualified personnel whilst installing one or more pressure-
sensitive bumpers with one or more control unit and after each maintenance work, adjustment or
modification to the machinery and/or machinery control circuit.
Check the values of the sensor ohmic resistance as shown in the following points.
Testing ensures that the pressure-sensitive bumpers, the controller of the control unit, machinery and
machinery control circuit operate correctly in order to stop the machinery hazardous movements in case of
emergency situations.
