14 Warranty
Gamma System s.r.l warrants the products of its manufacture (provided that they are used under normal
conditions) as being free of defective materials and faulty workmanship.
This warranty applies to the Gamma System safety system consisting of the pressure-sensitive bumper
(safety bumper) and the control unit.
The warranty covers the defects due to defective materials and faulty workmanship and is given for a period
of: 12 (twelve) months from the date of invoice. Without this invoice as a unique reference for Gamma
System, warranty is intended for 12 months from the manufacture date. For the verification of the
applicability of the warranty, the date in which the customer notifies the defect shall prevail.
The validity of the warranty is strictly connected to the following conditions:
In case of fault, the customer has the obligation to notify by fax the serial/identification number of the
pressure-sensitive bumper as well the details of the fault to Gamma System. In order to use the
warranty, notification shall be sent before the warranty expiration. The return of faulty pressure-
sensitive bumper(s) during the period of warranty coverage shall be agreed upon with Gamma
System which will issue a special code to authorize the return of goods. This code shall have to be
cited on the transport document accompanying the goods. Components for which warranty is
recognized, will be repaired or replaced free of charge by Gamma System.
The warranty does not apply if the fault(s) or malfunctioning have been caused, directly or indirectly,
by:
Inappropriate use
Failure to observe the instructions/rules of use
Negligence, unskillfullness, wrong maintenance
Repair, modifications/adjustments not carried by Gamma System staff, tampering, etc
Accidents or shocks (also due to transport of reasons of force majeure)
Other causes/circumstances independent of GAMMA SYSTEM
During the warranty coverage, components found faulty will be replaced free of charge. Sending a technician
to the customer’s site in most severe cases is at the discretion of Gamma System.
As for costs of transport of warranted material, the following will apply :
From Customer to Gamma System: At Customer’s charge
From Gamma System to Customer: At Gamma System’s charge
Transports by express courier or destined to an address other than that of the Customer to whom Gamma
System has invoiced the equipment, will in any case be charged to the Customer.
Gamma System does not recognize any and all other guarantees, warranties or rights except those
expressly described herein; claims for damages for expenses, suspension of activity or other factors or
circumstances in any way connected with the failed operation of the product or of one of its parts will not be
accepted.
