13. TROUBLESHOOTING
If your camera does not seem to be functioning properly or if
you are having photo/video quality issues, please run these
simple and quick checks:
Make sure the camera is powered on and in the correct
mode
For the E6P, E6PCF and E6PWF, f
ormat the SD card in the
camera or replace the SD card, since the SD card is a
storage media and sometimes it might be unstable
Check battery power level if night vision seems not to be
working as expected
For the E6P, E6PCF and E6P Max, t
he dark background of
night images is usually caused by strong reflections from the
obstacles close to the camera. To get the best night image,
please remove close-up obstacles (such as walls or tree
trunks) in front of the camera as possible, or adjust the
installation position of your camera to avoid these obstacles
(Figure 18)
