Creating and Listening to
Playlists
Using your nüvi, you can listen to
playlists created on your computer. You
can also save playlists using your nüvi.
To save your current playlist:
1. While listening to music, touch
Browse > Playlists > Current
Playlist > Save.
2. Enter a name for the playlist, and
touch Done.
To create a new playlist:
1. In the Music Player, touch Browse >
Playlists > New.
2. Select a song from a category, and
touch Save.
3. Enter a name, and touch Done.
4. To add more songs to your new
playlist, touch Edit > Add Songs.
To create a playlist on a computer:
1. Using your computer and an audio
program, create a playlist of music
les. Save the playlist as an M3U or
M3U8 le.
NOTE: You might need to edit the
playlist le with a text editor, such as
Notepad, to remove the path (link) to
the music le. The playlist le should
only list the music le names. Refer to
the Help le for the audio program.
2. Transfer the playlist and the music
les to the nüvi or the microSD drive
(see pages 32–33). The playlist le
must be in the same location as the
music les.
To play a playlist:
1. In the Music Player, touch Browse
> Playlists. All available playlists
appear.
2. Touch a playlist, and touch Play.
