Your nüvi product contains an FM
transmitter. Read the following notices.
Using Your nüvi FM
Transmitter in Europe
Use of FM transmitters is currently
illegal in certain European countries due
to specic radio frequency restrictions.
You must check the local regulations
in all European countries in which
you intend to use the FM transmitter
to ensure its legality. You accept full
responsibility for complying with all
such laws and regulations applicable
in your particular country of operation.

Using Your nüvi FM
Transmitter in the United
States
While use of FM transmitters is legal in
the United States, the allowable output
power for FM transmitters is lower in the
United States than it is in those European
countries that allow FM transmitters.
The nüvi models sold in Europe contain
the higher powered European FM
transmitter and cannot be legally used
in the United States. You accept full
responsibility for complying with all
such laws and regulations applicable in
your particular country of operation. You
must disable the FM transmitter before
using your European model nüvi in the
United States.
