Using the Find Menu /
Using the Routes Menu
Recently Found Places
Each recent list will hold up to 15 items. The last 15 businesses are listed in the POI list, the last
15 cities are in the cities list, etc. The most recently reviewed item is at the top of each list and the list
is in reverse-chronological order. You can use the ‘Recently Found Places’ option to locate points of
interest, addresses and intersections, cities, and other locations. The ‘Recently Found Places’ page is
denoted by a fi le tab at the top that identifi es the function of that page.
To locate a Recently Found Place:
1. Press the FIND key to display the Find Feature menu. Select ‘Recently Found Places’ and press
ENTER to display a list of places (you can also display the ‘Recently Found Places’ page by pressing
on and holding down the FIND key). Select the fi le tab category of your choice and then press
ENTER to display the list of types.
2. Select the desired item on the list and press ENTER to display the information page. The informa-
tion page will include the full name, type, address, and phone number (only for points of interest).
You can choose to save the selection as a waypoint, show it on the map, or route to it. Make your
selection and press ENTER.
Using the Routes Menu
The Routes menu gives you seven options to manage the StreetPilot III Routes feature. To access
the Routes menu, press the Route key. The seven options are as follows:
Recalculate
Recalculates the active route for faster time or shorter distance.
Detour Calculates a new route to destination avoiding part of the current route.
Stop or Resume Stops the route being navigated (or simulated), or resumes a stopped route.
Via Point Adds or removes an intermediate point to be reached on the way to the fi nal destination.
Save Saves the active route.
New Starts an entirely new route.
List Selects a Route to start from a list of saved routes.
