MEATBALLS
POTATO FRITTERS
• 250 g minced meat
• 1onion,nelychopped
• 1 egg
• 5 - 7 slices toasting bread
• 1 teaspoon of your favourite barbecue spice mixture
• 1 teaspoon sweet capsicum spice
• Salt to taste
• 400 g potatoes, peeled
• 1onion,nelychopped
• 1 egg
• 1heapedtablespoonour
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 pinch of ground, dried basil
• 1 pinch of salt

1.Tearonesliceoftoastingbreadtosmallakesandkeeptheotherslicesathand.
2.Then,thoroughlymixthebreadakes,mincedmeat,choppedonion,egg,andspices.
3.Whentheappliancereachedtheoperatingtemperature,llanappropriateportionofthemeatmixtureineachwelloftheheating
plate.
4. With the lid closed, roast the meatballs until they get a crispy crust (approx. 3 - 4 minutes).
5. After removing the meatballs, shortly roast a slice of bread in each well.
6. After removing the bread, roast the next portion of the meat mixture and thereafter the next slices of bread.
7. Serve the meatballs with the roasted bread slices.
PREPARATION:
1. Grate the potatoes. Then, add the other ingredients and mix thoroughly.
2.Waituntiltheappliancereachesoperatingtemperature.Thenllaportionofthepotatomixtureintothewellsoftheheatingplate.
3. Bake until the potato fritters get a slightly golden crust (8 - 10 minutes).
4. Serve to taste with cinnamon and sugar, apple sauce, or other side dishes.
