Surge Filter Fuses
The surge fi lter fuses are located on separate
receptacles on the surge fi lter.
Note: If either or both of the fuses open, it will not
disable oven functions or the display. The fuses
main purpose is to protect certain oven components
from damage by lightning. To access the fuses, it
is necessary to remove the oven from cabinet or
wall opening and remove the outer cover. (See Oven
Removal / Partial Removal.)
The surge fi lter is equipped with two 20 amp fuses
(Part # WB27X10388).

Surge Filter
The surge fi lter protects components of the oven
against damaging electrical surges or power spikes
such as lightning. The surge fi lter is located on the
right side of the oven behind the circulation motor
assembly and to the right of the magnetron. The
surge fi lter is held in place by a single Phillips-head
screw. The surge fi lter ground wire is attached to the
oven chassis with a single Phillips-head screw. The
outer cover must be removed to access the surge
fi lter. (See Oven Removal / Partial Removal.)
Note: When installing the surge fi lter, ensure that
the fi lter wiring harness is connected to the correct
fi lter terminals.
