GE Modular MAC Trolley - Replacing the Front Bumper; Replacing the Trolley Column

ReplacingtheFrontBumper
Thisprocedureappliestoalltrolleystyles.
Forthisprocedure,youwillneeda#20Torxscrewdriver.
ToremovethebumperfromtheModularMACTrolley,usethefollowingprocedure:
1.UsingtheT-20Torxscrewdriver,removethefourscrewsfromtheundersideof
thebumper.
BumperforModularMACTrolleyBumperforMAC1600Trolley
2.Removeanddiscardthebumper.
Ifthescrewsareundamaged,retainthemtouseonthenewbumper.
3.Placethenewbumperintopositiononthetrolleytop.
4.Lineupthebumperscrewswiththeholesinthetrolleyand,usingtheT-20Torx
screwdriver,tightenthefourscrewstosecurethebumpertothetrolley.
ReplacingtheTrolleyColumn
Thisprocedureappliestoalltrolleystyles.
Beforeremovingthetrolleycolumnfromthebase,removetheMACunitand
accessoriesfromthecolumn.Ifitisnecessarytoremovethetopfromthetrolley,see
“ReplacingtheModularorMAC1600Top”onpage24forinstructions.
OncetheMACunitandthetop(ifnecessary)areremoved,usethefollowing
instructionstoreplacethetrolleycolumn.
1.Removethebinsandcarefullylaythetrolleyassemblyatonitsbackona
smooth,paddedsurface.
Thiswillavoidscratchesorotherdamagetothetrolley.
2.Usingthe1/2"socketwrenchsuppliedwiththetrolley,removethefour5/16-18
x2.25"angedHHCSthatsecurethetrolleycolumntothebase.
