How to fix GE RBS360 Ranges oven that will not self-clean?
    • D
      Dale WagnerAug 27, 2025
If your GE Ranges oven won't self-clean, it could be due to a couple of reasons. If the oven temperature is too high, allow it to cool down before resetting the controls for a self-clean operation. Also, ensure that the oven controls are properly set by consulting the Cleaning the Oven section.

      Shane WrightSep 13, 2025
No. The inner oven glass of your GE Ranges is coated with a heat barrier to reflect the heat back into the oven to prevent heat loss and keep the outer door cool while baking. This is normal. Under certain light or angles you may see this tint or rainbow color.

    • T
      Timothy JonesAug 28, 2025
To ensure your food broils properly in your GE Ranges, first make sure you've selected the correct broil mode. Refer to the Cooking Guide for rack position suggestions. Ensure the cookware is cool and suited for broiling. If using aluminum foil on the broiling pan and grid, fit it properly and slit as recommended. In some areas with lower voltage, preheat the broil element for 10 minutes.
