Transportation of SF

D Transportation of SF6 gas is considered as a transportion of dangerous
materials. It must be carried out in accordance with the regulations in force,
especially the ADR Regulations in Europe (European Agreement concerning
the International Road T ransport of dangerous materials).
D For each transport, each container must be labelled, the label must be vis-
ible and be combined with a Health & Safety / Transportation label and a
T ransportation slip for dangerous materials must be drawn up.
D In the event of a transportation of SF6 gas containing toxic products
(waste), the document for dangerous materials must include the ADR 2.2 T
C classification with a Safety Plan. The combined label will be the following :
S7/9 Keep container tightly closed in a well- ventilated place.
S 20/21
When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.
S38
In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
S45
In the event of an accident, contact a doctor immediately (if possible
show the doctor this label).
S 61 - Avoid release to the environment. Refer to special Instructions / Safety
Data Sheet.
S63
If inhaled, move the victim out of the contaminated area and keep them
still.
S 51 - Use only in well ventilated areas.
