Vscan Air – system protection
The System needs to be configured and maintained in a way
that continually protects Privacy and Security.
The GEHC Vscan Air contains additional features to improve
local operational security.
It is recommended to regularly apply Operating System (OS),
Security and Software of Unknown (or uncertain) Pedigree (or
provenance), (SOUP) patches.
It is also recommended to minimize the use of your display
device as a non-clinical host.
Host OS and other host software negative compatibility
Ensure that Vscan Air CL probe software and the Vscan Air App
software versions are latest and compatible with one another.
Incompatible softwares could cause issues in the basic
functionality of the Vscan Air application. It could also cause
issues in Vscan Air CL pairing with the app.
NOTE: Restart the device if any one of the following situations occur:
• Vscan Air app crashes
• Vscan Air app halts
• Vscan Air app stops functioning
• Vscan Air app runs slowly
NOTE: Data communication between probe and app are encrypted
using WPA2 during scan.
