The Face Detection mode will detect faces of persons during
picture shooting so that the faces will be clearer (Except in
Panorama Mode).
1. In Shooting mode, press the Face Detection (
) button,
and LCD will display with icon at the same time.
2. Hold the camera securely, and take the operation of face
detection for the shot object. When the camera detecting
the face, it will display a frame above the face on the
screen.
3. Press
Shutter halfway to focus on the subject.
4. Press
Shutter fully to capture the image.
5. Press the Face Detection button or Shutter button to
disable this function.
