3.6.3 Internal battery
The GF_VEDO HL panels use an internal lithium battery (non-rechargeable; replaceable).
This lets you maintain data in the static RAM memory when the GF_VEDO HL is switched off (for a maximum of 3
years).
To replace the battery when necessary, do as follows:
· get a replacement battery: 24 mm diameter button battery, 3V lithium (CR2430)
· switch off the system by disconnecting it from the external power supply
· access the battery as shown in Figure 22
· remove the battery
· follow the rules for disposal of lithium batteries
· insert the new battery as shown in Figure 22
· switch on the system
Note: If the battery is replaced rapidly (in less than 15 minutes), there is no loss of data maintained by the buffer
battery.
