3. Check temperature and time settings to
prevent over-roasting.

Fully depress release button while lifting
roasting chamber out of the roaster.
1. Be sure that the opening end of the
chamber is facing to the left (cha
collector side) of the unit and that the
roasting chamber lid is fully closed.
2. Check to see that the roasting chamber
is properly aligned with the groove on
the left side of the body.
1. The Gene Cafe will not stop until the
unit reaches a safe temperature.
2. Depress TEMP (START/STOP) dial,
which will stop the unit when it reaches
212ºF (100º C).
Maximum roasting
amount per patch is
0.5Lbs (250g).
Safety auto stop setting
is 140º F (60ºC).
Intermediate safety stop
temperature is 212ºF
(100ºC).
