iX SERIES PORTABLE GENERATORS
Fora period of two years from the date of original sale, GeneracPower Systems, Inc. (Generac)warrantsits iX Seriesgeneratorswill befree from defects
in materials and workmanshipfor the items and period setforth below. Generacwill, atits discretion, repair or replaceany part that, upon examination,
inspectionand testing by Generacor a GeneracAuthorizedWarrantyService Dealer,is foundto be defective.Anyequipmentthat the purchaser/owner
claimsto bedefectivemust be returnedto andexaminedby the nearestGeneracAuthorizedWarrantyService Dealer.All transportation costs underthe
warranty,including returnto the factory, are to beborne and prepaid by the purchaser/owner.This warranty appliesonly to GeneraciXSeriesportable
generatorsand is nottransferablefrom originalpurchaser.Saveyour proof-of-purchase receipt. If you do not provideproof of the initial purchasedate,
the manufacturer's shippingdate of the product will beused to determinethe warranty period.
WARRANTY SCHEDULE
Consumerapplications are warrantedfor two (2) years.Commercial and Rentalapplicationsare warrantedfor six (6) months.

NOTE: Forthe purpose ofthis warranty "consumer use" meanspersonal residentialhouseholdor recreationaluseby originalpurchaser.This warranty
does not applyto units used for Prime Powerin place of utility whereutility powerservice is presentor where utility power service does not
normally exist. Oncea generatorhas experiencedcommercialor rentaluse, it shallthereafter be considereda non-consumeruse generatorfor
the purposeof this warranty.
All warrantyexpenseallowancesare subject to the conditions definedin Generac'sServicePolicy Manual.
THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Generacportable generatorsthat utilize non-Generacreplacementparts.
• Costs of normal maintenanceand adjustments.
• Failurescausedby any contaminatedfuels, oils or lack of proper oil levels.
• Repairsor diagnosticsperformed by individualsotherthan Guardian/Generacauthorizeddealersnot authorizedin writing by GeneracPowerSystems.
• Failuresdue,but not limited, to normal wear andtear,accident,misuse, abuse,negligenceor improperuse. As with all mechanicaldevices,the Generac
enginesneedperiodicpart(s) service and replacementto perform as designed.This warrantywill not cover repairwhen normal usehas exhaustedthe
life of a part(s) or engine.
• Failurescausedby any act of God andother force majeureevents beyondthe manufacturer'scontrol.
• Damagerelatedto rodent and/orinsect infestation.
• Productsthat are modified or alteredin a mannernot authorizedby Generacin writing.
• Any incidental,consequentialor indirectdamagescausedby defectsin materials orworkmanship, or any delayin repair or replacementof the defective
part(s).
• Failuredueto misapplication.
• Telephone,cellularphone,facsimile, internetaccess or othercommunication expenses.
• Livingor travelexpensesof person(s) performing service, exceptas specificallyincludedwithin theterms of a specific unitwarranty period.
• Expensesrelatedto "customer instruction" or troubleshootingwhere nomanufacturing defectisfound.
• Rentalequipmentused while warranty repairs arebeing performed.
• Overnightfreight or specialshippingcosts for replacementpart(s).
• Overtime,holiday or emergencylabor.
• Starting batteries,fuses, light bulbs and enginefluids.
THISWARRANTYIS IN PLACEOFALL OTHERWARRANTIES,EXPRESSEDORIMPLIED,SPECIFICALLY,GENERACPOWERSYSTEMSMAKESNOOTHER
WARRANTIESAS TOTHEMERCHANTABILITYORFITNESSFORA PARTICULARPURPOSE.Any implied warrantieswhich are allowed by law,shall be
limited in durationto the terms of the expresswarranty providedherein. Somestates do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so
the above limitation may not apply to purchaser/owner.
