generatorcomply with exhaustemissionstandards.Thisgenerator
is certified to meetthe applicableEPAemission levels.Additional
informationregardingthe requirementsset by EPAis as follows:
Themaintenancespecifications provided in this manualmust be
followed to ensurethat your enginecomplies with the applicable
emissionstandardsfor the durationof the engine'slife. Thisengine
is certifiedto operateon gasoline.Theemissioncontrolsystem on
your generatorconsists of the following:

The Emissions Compliance Period referred to on the Emissions

UNiT iDENTiFiCATiON (Figure2)

7. Muffler: Lowers engineexhaust noise.

9. Left Side ServiceCover: Allows access to air filter, fuel filter
and oil fill.
10. VentHoses: Hosesallow venting of the carburetor.
11. FuelShutoff:Controlsfuel supply to the carburetor.
12. Starter Rope:Pullropefor starting engine.
CONTROLPANEL(Figure3)
13. LOW OIL LEVELLED (yellow): Lights up when oil level is
belowsafe operatinglevelandthe engineshuts down.
14. OVERLOADLED(red):This LEDindicatesa systemoverload.
This LEDshould be usedin conjunctionwith the READYLED
which will flash an error code, seeNo. 15.
15. READY LED (green): Indicates output from the generator
unlessthere is a low oil or overloadcondition. In the eventof
a system overloadthe ReadyLED will provide an indication
of the overloadcondition.The indicationconsists of a series
of flashes separated by a pause. These indications are as
follows:
1 Flash-- Low Voltage.The unit has beenoverloadedto the
pointwherethe outputvoltagehas droppedto less
than IOOVAC.
