      If your Genie Garage Door Opener starts to go down but then stops and goes back up, or if you suspect a Safe-T-Beam® System malfunction, consider the following: * For new installations, verify the Door Arm position. * Check and adjust the limits if they are not properly set. * See if the Safe-T-Beam® red LED is flashing and check the Safe-T-Beam® system for any beam obstruction or misalignment. * Ensure that the garage door is not binding. If problems persist and the opener won't close, you can force it by pressing and holding the wall control button until the door closes completely. Also, check for interference from nearby Safe-T-Beam® units. For further assistance, contact Genie at 1-800-35-GENIE.
