If the spent mandrel is not evacuated, several factors could be at play. First, check if the spent mandrel container is full and empty it if necessary. Also, inspect the mandrel evacuation hose for blockages and clear them. Ensure that you are using the correct nosepiece; replace it according to the table if it's wrong. A worn nosepiece can also cause this issue, so replace it if needed. Lastly, a spent mandrel jammed in the jaws can be the culprit; clean the jaws and jaw housing, oil the sliding surfaces, and replace the jaws if they are worn.
