  If oil isn't pumping back to the fry pot in your GILES Fryer, ensure the selector switch is in the [FILTER PUMP] position. Check for air leaks in the system (hoses, fittings, connector, Filter Pan) and eliminate them, ensuring the quick-disconnect is secure. A faulty pump motor, a clogged or damaged oil pump, or excessive sludge in the Filter Pan could also be the cause. Clean the Filter Pan and replace the media if necessary.
