Why is my GILES GBF-50 Fryer oil smoking?

  If your GILES Fryer's oil is smoking, it could be due to several reasons: * The cooking oil might be old and used for too long, in which case you should change it. * The temperature setting may be too high, so check and adjust it. * The element could be dirty; clean it using a L?bend brush. * There might be a faulty element, which would need replacement. * The element voltage may be improper; verify the supply voltage. * The oil level might be too low; keep the oil between the FULL and ADD marks.

  If your GILES Fryer will not turn on and the power light is off, it could be due to several reasons: * It may not be properly connected to a power source; ensure it's connected. * There might be a faulty fuse or circuit breaker; check these. * The fuse holder could be damaged and require replacement. * The power switch might be faulty and need replacement. * The supply voltage could be improper; confirm that the power source is correct.
