NOTE:
Cooking presets stored in the controller do not include a cooking temperature setting. Temp must always be input
manually before cooking begins, see Section 4.01.3.
Up to fifty (50) cooking presets for specific menu items can be stored in the controller ... each includes:
● Menu No. ‐ Sequential ID number
● Menu Name ‐ Name of the food product assigned to the preset.
● Cook Time ‐ Cooking time for the item.
● STIR OVERRIDE ‐ Overrides the global STIR ALARM setting in User Settings for this menu item. Factory default =
[NORMAL] ... global setting controls the Stir Alarm feature.
● FISH FILTER ‐ To help prevent flavor transfer, particularly for seafood, certain you may want the oil filtered after
cooking only one (1) batch of an item. This setting overrides the global FORCE FILTER setting specified in User
Settings. Factory default = [OFF] ... global setting controls Force Filter feature. A SNOOZE feature is available
which, when selected, will allow two (2) batches of the item to be cooked before filtering is forced.
All 50 Menu Presets are pre‐programmed with default settings. Menus 1 thru 10 are set for some typically popular
menu items (table below). All others contain the general settings shown on the last line of the table. You can edit
any of these settings to customize them for your specific applications and menu offerings.
Users do not actually have to add the Menu Item Presets, as values already populate all 50 items. You only need to
edit the settings to create your custom settings. The following sections explain the steps required.
