To reduce the risk of electrical shock, avoid operating the machine with wet hands or feet and do not operate the machine with
bare feet. The machine has to be installed with an efficient ground system; the manufacturer recommends a wooden platform
on which the operator can stand.
Never touch coffee groups, spouts, steam and hot water pipes. They are hot and could cause burns.
Never operate the machine without water.
The machine must be operated with clean drinking water. Use water softeners if the water has a high mineral content.
Mineral deposits may obstruct the machine’s water circuit, which may cause damage to the machine and possibly personal
injury.
The machine must operate only with drinking water.
Whenever unattended from the operator the machine has to be switched off and the connection to the water mains has to be
closed.
9. Start up
Please follow the following steps:
Open the external water valve to the mains (delivery and installation not included).
Turn the external power switch on (delivery and installation not included).
Switch machine’s main switch (fig. A, n°1) on. The green control lamp “machine on” (fig. A, n°1) will light.
As the boiler at first installation is empty, the machine’s automatic boiler filling system will start. The display will indicate the
machine status.
Note: after app. 120” the filling function is stopped electronically. If the boiler isn’t yet filled, please switch the machine’s
main switch (fig. A, n°1) off again and immediately after on. The boiler filling process will proceed.
When the boiler is filled wait until the boiler and the groups reaches its working temperature.

1. Switch key (fig.A, n°1) off.
2. Switch key (fig.A, n°3) off.

activated the automatic on/off program of the machine.
The machine will switch off by itself.
Nevertheless the operator must follow points 3 and 4 of above.
What to do if the machine goes off because of the automatic on/off program being active but we need to operate the
equipment?
