NOTES
PULSATION REDUCING MEASURES
- Important for demanding painting operations
In general it should be ensured that the air pressure is available in sufficient quantity and without
large pressure fluctuations.
1 Use of a sound absorber with large flow volumes
Part No. 77665 001001
2 Use of a large-volume air pressure hose line ≥ DN9 between pressure control valve and
air inlet – piston pump
3 Use of fluid hose lines with a diameter ≥ DN6
Use of pulsation-damping fluid hose lines
– P250/6 G1/4 Length 7500 Item ID 75844 024005
– P250/6 G1/4 Length 10000 Item ID 75844 024006
4 Installation of a screen
5 Installation of a pressure control valve
Extra measures produce a corresponding increase in pulsation damping
The largest reduction in pulsation is achieved by using the pulsation-damping hose line
P250/6 G1/4.
For viscosities
of 10-750 mm²/s
at an operating temperature
