  If your Graco Paint Sprayer's pressure is set at maximum but you cannot achieve a good spray pattern, consider the following: * The spray tip might be too large for the sprayer; select a smaller spray tip. * The spray tip might be worn; replace it. * The extension cord might be too long or not heavy enough gauge; replace it. * The spray gun fluid filter or InstaClean fluid filter might be clogged; clean or replace them. * The inlet screen might be clogged; clean any debris off it. * The material may be too thick; thin it.

  If, when using your Graco Paint Sprayer, the coat is not covering, it is likely because the coat is going on too thin. Try moving the gun slower. You may need to choose a tip with a larger hole size or a narrower fan. Also, make sure the gun is close enough to the surface.

  If the motor of your Graco Paint Sprayer is hot and runs intermittently (not due to thermal overload), ensure the vent holes in the enclosure are clear of obstructions and overspray, and keep the sprayer open to air. Replace the extension cord if it is too long or not a heavy enough gauge. If using an unregulated electrical generator, ensure it has a proper voltage regulator (120VAC, 60 Hz, 1500-Watt). If the sprayer was operated at high pressure with a very small tip, decrease the pressure setting or increase the tip size.

  If the building circuit breaker opens after your Graco Paint Sprayer operates for 5 to 10 minutes, try freeing up the circuit by unplugging other appliances or use a less busy circuit. Check the sprayer's electrical cord for broken insulation or wires and replace it if damaged. Test the extension cord with a working device and replace it if damaged or too long, or not heavy enough gauge.
