What to do if my Graco Paint Sprayer won't run?
    • A
      Andrea CollierAug 19, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer isn't running, there could be several reasons: * The power switch might not be on, so turn it on. * The wall outlet may not be providing power. Check the outlet by plugging in another appliance. If that doesn't work, try a different outlet. * You might be using the wrong size generator. Use a 3500 watt or larger generator. * The circuit breaker might have tripped. Reset the breaker.

What to do if Graco RTX2500 Paint Sprayer pump won’t pump material?
    • C
      Courtney MillsAug 21, 2025
If the pump on your Graco Paint Sprayer won’t pump material, consider the following: * There might be an air lock. Open the air valve on the gun. * The mix might be too thick. Add water to thin the material and use the Material Thickness Gauge. * There could be loose fittings. Check and retighten all fittings. * The gun might be plugged. Perform the Pressure Relief Procedure and clean the gun after removing it from the hose. * The pump hose might be worn out. Replace the hose, ideally once every year. * The pump might be cold. Move the pump to a warm room and allow it to warm up, or run hot water through the sprayer. * The material flow might be turned down. Turn up the material flow control.

Why is my Graco RTX2500 Paint Sprayer running slow?
    • A
      Austin MartinezAug 28, 2025
There are several reasons why the speed of application of your Graco Paint Sprayer might be slow: * The material might be too thick, so thin it. * The nozzle might be too small, so change to a larger size. * Too much air might be being used, so partially close the gun air valve to reduce airflow. * The pump hose might be worn, so replace it. * The gun might be plugged or dirty, so clean the gun. * The hose might be kinked, so unkink it. * The gun adjustment might be set too low, so increase the flow adjustment with the flow adjustment nut. * There might be too many items on the same circuit, so unplug other items from the circuit. * The extension cord might be too long or the wrong gauge, so use a different extension cord.
